The IC can be accessed using your Web Browser from your home computer. The interface is clear and user friendly. Simply tell it what days it should water, and at what times, and the IC will save the information. The Irrigation Caddy supports "Even / Odd", "Every X Days", and "Days of the Week" scheduling. The information is kept on the IC, even if the power is turned off.

Does more and costs less than most non-networked models Review by Wasi
Price Value Quality
I have just received my IC-W1 after waiting for some time for its release.
I am on the other side of the world (New Zealand) and the package arrived by post in 12 days from order.
The unit was well packaged and had simple setup instructions.
The network setup is based on wifi. If you don't have a laptop or ipad and your PC is some way away from the irrigation unit you may need some running backwards and forwards to the unit (network address is conveniently displayed) and/or some network knowledge to set it up. Otherwise instructions are clear and setup is quick.
I had my system changed over from an older system, moisture sensor set up, zones labelled and tested, programs set up, remote connection on internet tested, packaging in the recycling bin, within an hour.
This unit also has an interface on the front panel for manual activation of zones which is a plus over the original model.
I plan to add the unit to my control4 system. The manufacturers state that the current driver does not work with this new model. I can confirm that it picks up the zones but cannot switch them on and off. Apparently a new driver is due soon.
Others have had minor quibbles about the casing. This is softer than say a Toro or Hunter case but seems perfectly adequate for indoor use and is well finished. It would be nice to clip in rather than screw in wires but given you only need to do it once it is hardly a big thing.
Overall this is looks a great product.
